Line of Fracture

This is a casting of a sidewalk crack from a specific site in the city of San Francisco. The crack was casted with silicone and later cast with aluminum. The project speaks to the prediction of our urban ruins as well as what is beneath the land that covers up the previous landscape through capturing the void of this crack.
